D-A Coarse is the cutting step in the RUPES dual-action compound system. Use a compatible coarse pad to address surface defects, then inspect the result before deciding whether a finer polishing step is needed.
Use a test area to establish the least aggressive pad-and-compound combination that achieves the correction needed. Inspect the surface between stages rather than judging the result through polishing residue.
