This 125 mm hard backing pad uses a 6xM4 attachment and a 6+1 hole layout for the LK tool family. It supports the polishing pad rather than contacting the finish as the consumable.
The backing plate is the support component underneath the working pad. Diameter, spindle or bolt connection and tool-specific geometry all matter when replacing it.
