Lake Country HDO Orange Polishing Pad w/CCS Technology 6.5" x 1" is a Lake Country product intended for boat compounding, polishing and surface correction. It is built for boat owners and installers who need a product-specific solution for cutting, polishing or finishing compatible marine surfaces.
HDO Orange Polishing Pad with CCS Technology 6.5" x 1" Conventional foam pads absorb polish too quickly. This reduces polish and pad performance because most of the polish is trapped below the working surface of the pad. CCS Technology™ solves this common problem using strategic patterns of partially closed foam cells.

- Benefits: Polish – Orange Pads are used for fine scratches & general light swirls, and are used with a medium-cut compound or polish.
- The Orange pad can be used as a cutting pad on softer paints or when defects are not too severe to begin with.
- On harder paint surfaces, the orange foam acts as the perfect choice for finishing to a brilliant gloss.
- Slow Rate of Polish Absorption – CCS pockets gradually release polish as needed by the operator.
- Prevents Pad Skipping – CCS pockets reduce surface tension, allowing the operator to run the pad flat on the working surface.
- Dual Layer – The dual-layer design reduces lateral/horizontal movement, resulting in a reduction of friction inside the pad, which increases durability by eliminating excessive heat and reducing foam fatigue.
