Lake Country HDO Blue Heavy Polishing Pad 5.5″ x 1″

Product Overview

Lake Country HDO Blue Heavy Polishing Pad 5.5" x 1" fits into Lake Country’s lineup for boat compounding, polishing and surface correction, with its function centered on cutting, polishing or finishing compatible marine surfaces.

Foam Polishing Pad HDO is engineered for long throw polishers with a dual-layer design and is the perfect pad for an even polish with less worry about overheating and other damage. Incorporates the benefits and concepts of both thick and thin pads, as well as the advantages of a tapered profile and exact fit style pads. This helps to create a user-friendly experience with impressive results while offering performance benefits to the operator.

Product Details

• Benefits: Correction – Blue pads are used for Heavy defects, harder paint surfaces, and deep etching.
• Use with medium to heavy cutting compounds.
• Dual Layer – Lake Country's dual layer designed foam reduces lateral/horizontal movement, resulting in a reduction of molecular friction inside the pad, which increases durability by eliminating excessive heat and reducing foam fatigue.
• Stay Cool – HDO pads block heat transfer between layers and offer the same benefits of a thin pad.
• Along with the benefits of a thin pad, the design and shape offer proper weight and weight distribution for maximum performance.
• The center cooling chamber dissipates heat away from the center of the pad, reducing temperatures and increasing durability.
• Shape and Design – Design offers even pressure distribution like an exact fit pad, but shape/profile offers the precision and safety of a tapered pad.
• The tapered edge prevents pad rolling and offers great pad rotation.
• Great for curved and contoured panels.

Fit & Selection Guidance

Use manufacturer part number HDO-93550-LC to verify the exact item. Confirm dimensions, voltage, capacity, material, mounting pattern, connection type and model compatibility where applicable. Replacement parts should be matched to the exact parent equipment or system whenever the manufacturer specifies one.

For installation-sensitive products, follow the manufacturer’s current instructions and the applicable marine electrical, plumbing, structural or safety requirements for your boat.
