The 75 mm non-vacuum sanding backing pad uses a 5/16-inch male fitting. It is not a through-pad dust-extraction version.

The backing pad supports the abrasive and, where provided, routes sanding dust through its openings. The fitting and hole layout matter as well as the working diameter.
